about

CREATING and recording music long distance may be common place in the digital music age, but it doesn't come naturally to those who care about capturing moments as well as performance. All of PALOMA’s members have spent the last two decades making music with friends, and the evidence of their chemistry shines brightly on MOM POP. From struggling with four tracks and cassettes to PCs and MACs, PALOMA strikes the right balance between inspiration and interpretation, letting the flaws ride where they should, piling on the layers to strip them away again, but never settling for the same old thing. MOM POP is full of fresh voices, hooks, breakdowns, buildups, and genuine heart, even compressed into mp3s.
